"Toy Story 3" is flying toward the number one animated movie money maker of the year.

Cowboy Woody and Buzz Lightyear lit the box office again. "Toy Story 3" has more than $227 million already. That’s in just two weekends. Heading to "infinity and beyond," it is about to pass the number one animated movie of the year. "Shrek Forever After" is just a couple million dollars ahead.

Number two at the box office this weekend: a movie the critics panned. The fans trumped the reviews. They paid $41 million to see the Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade comedy "Grown Ups."

The new action-packed romantic comedy featuring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz kept a low profile. The movie "Knight and Day" brought in about $28 million. It is the lowest opening weekend box office return for Cruise in two decades.
