10-year-old killed by hit-and-run driver in South LA

A 10-year-old boy was struck and killed today by a hit-and-run driver in South Los Angeles.

The boy was hit around 2:30 p.m. at 76th and Hoover streets, said Officer April Harding of the Los Angeles Police Department.

A description of the suspect vehicle was not available.
