LAPD offers reward in woman's death
A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man seen running from a burning home in the San Fernando Valley where a woman was found dead.
Los Angeles police released a composite sketch and a security video of the suspect Thursday at a news conference.
Authorities say the fiance of 34-year-old Chere Osmanhodzic told investigators he returned home from the store on Saturday evening and confronted a man inside the home that he shared with his bride-to-be. He chased the suspect for several blocks and returned to find the home on fire.
Police say Osmanhodzic was assaulted and killed before the fire started.
Her mother, Gail Cameron, pleaded for the public to help find her daughter's killer.
