3 more murder charges against jailed defendant

A man who pleaded not guilty three months ago to the March shooting death of a Hollywood woman has now been charged with the 2008 killings of her husband and daughter as well the Sunset Boulevard sniper shooting of a prostitute earlier this year.

The three additional murder charges were filed Tuesday against 60-year-old Alberd Tersargyan.

Tersargyan was arrested weeks after 38-year-old Karine Hakobyan was shot to death March 26 in the front seat of her car inside a Hollywood apartment building carport. He pleaded not guilty May 3 to a charge of murder while lying in wait.

Fifteen months earlier, Hakobyan's husband Khachik Safaryan and an 8-year-old daughter were found shot to death in the Hollywood apartment.
