LA man booked in death of father found in storage
Authorities say a 24-year-old man from Hollywood has been arrested on suspicion of killing his 62-year-old father, whose body was found in a storage facility east of Los Angeles.
Sheriff's Sgt. Diane Hecht said Saturday that 24-year-old Jonathan Pedraza was arrested Friday night after witnesses watched him ram through the gate of A1 Mini Storage in Irwindale and took down his license plate number. Hecht says Pedraza was arrested after crashing in Baldwin Park.
Inside the storage facility, Irwindale Police found the body of 62-year-old Miguel L. Pedraza.
There was no immediate word on how or why Miguel Pedraza was killed, and it was unclear if Jonathan Pedraza had hired an attorney.
