Junior Philharmonic holds free Thanksgiving concert in Beverly Hills

There's a way to give your youngsters something to do - and expose them to some live classical music - with a free concert tomorrow in Beverly Hills.

The Junior Philharmonic is presenting a free holiday concert at Beverly High’s Peters Auditorium. With traditional classics, Broadway selections and pop tunes, the young people’s symphony will take the audience on a musical journey from Mozart operas to their cinematic counterparts – think "Star Wars."

The Junior Phil features young musicians and alums who span the seven decades since the ensemble began to play.
