Authorities say a man was killed when a commuter train hit his car after he drove under a barrier at a crossing east of Los Angeles.
Baldwin Park police Lt. David Reynoso says the driver was the only person in the Buick Sedan that was hit by the Metrolink train Monday morning.
The man's name and age have not been released.
Reynoso says two train passengers complained of pain and were taken to hospitals.
Metrolink spokeswoman Sherita Coffelt tells the Los Angeles Times one passenger had a back injury, the other had problems with a pacemaker.
The train was heading from downtown Los Angeles to San Bernardino.
Metrolink used buses to move passengers through the area until the train was able to continue about two hours later.
