Fire officials say one person has been injured in a blaze at a Los Angeles high-rise that sent a large plume a black smoke into the sky.
Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott says the fire was reported Sunday afternoon in a unit on the 20th floor of a condominium building in Century City.
Up to 75 firefighters responded and knocked down the blaze in about 20 minutes.
Scott says the unit was engulfed in flames.
According to the LA Times, three women were injured during the fire, Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said. Two were taken to the hospital, one with minor burns and one with respiratory problems. The third was treated at the scene.
