A 17-year-old boy stabbed his 24-year-old brother multiple times, fatally wounding him, Pomona police said today.
The stabbing in the 200 block of Whitney Avenue, near Gladstone Street, happened about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Pomona Police Department officials.
Victor Aguero, of Pomona, died in the ambulance en route to a helicopter that was set to take him to a hospital, police said. The fatally injured man was possibly drunk, but it was unclear what the fight was about, police said.
The suspect, whose name was not released, was booked for murder, and was held without bail in Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall, pending a review of the case by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, police said.
