Anschutz Entertainment Group is a step closer to making its proposed pro football stadium a reality in downtown Los Angeles. On Tuesday the company released new images of the Farmers Field project.
Architects from the LA-based firm Gensler presented the new design images to reporters inside a movie theater at L.A. Live’s Regal Cinemas.
Gensler spokesman Tim Romani described the open-air stadium:
“It looks like it has wings and could lift off the ground. I think it’s fitting for the City of Angels. It engages you. You feel like you’re a part of the building when you’re a long distance away because you can see what’s going on inside. So it’s very transparent and energetic.”
