South Pasadena Police officers on a burglary suppression assignment stopped a bicyclist around 2:30 am on Thursday for vehicle code violations and discovered the suspect in possession of an estimated $23,000 worth of marijuana.

Identified as San Gabriel resident Marco Solis, the 53-year-old suspect was also found to be on felony probation for narcotics.

Solis was arrested and booked into the Pasadena City Jail. He is being held on $50,000.00 bail for charges related to possessing and transporting marijuana for sale.
