Obama comes to LA for fundraisers, expect traffic delays

President Barack Obama will be back in Southern California on Wednesday for a pair of mega-money fundraisers and it looks like some big name stars will be on hand to help out.

The president is scheduled to touch down in Los Angeles in the late afternoon. His first stop will be Holmby Hills, where soap opera mogul Bradley Bell (executive producer of “The Bold and the Beautiful”) and comedian Will Ferrell will co-host a dinner in the president's honor.

The Foo Fighters will perform, still (we assume) glowing from winning five Grammys on Sunday night.

On Thursday morning, Mr. Obama heads to Newport Beach for a breakfast fundraiser after spending the night at the Beverly Hilton — the very same Beverly Hilton where Whitney Houston passed away just a few days ago.

Tickets for both events top out at $38,000 a pop.

Major east-west streets such as Sunset and Wilshire Boulevard are the most likely to be affected starting Wednesday night after 8 p.m. and possibly continuing into Thursday morning.

Sources are so far mum on whether the president will be traveling by helicopter or motorcade, and route details have not been publicized. Total Traffic L.A.'s list of streets potentially affected in the early hours Thursday includes:
