Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be in New Orleans through Friday for a conference. He is then scheduled to fly to Kentucky for more meetings plus Saturday's Kentucky Derby.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is scheduled to fly to New Orleans this evening to attend the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ World Cultural Economic Forum.
The mayor is expected to give remarks tomorrow morning at the Ritz Carlton hotel on how a city’s culture can drive the local economy. He will then attend an 11 a.m. news conference.
When the conference concludes on Friday, Villaraigosa will fly to Kentucky to attend meetings for the U.S. Conference of Mayors. He is also expected to attend the Kentucky Derby.
The mayor will return to Los Angeles on Sunday. So far this year, Villaraigosa has made 13 trips out of Southern California. It was just last Friday that he flew to Washington, D.C. for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
