Amgen Great (bike) Race Los Angeles route and road closures

The race will start in Beverly Hills at around 9:30 a.m. and reach Orange by 10:20 a.m. It will finish downtown at L.A. LIVE at around 11:50 a.m.

Saturday 9 p.m. to Sunday 6 p.m.: Figueroa will close between 11th and 12th Streets and remain closed. Officials hope to reopen the stretch Sunday at 6 p.m.

Sunday 9:30 a.m.: Street closures will begin once the race gets underway in Beverly Hills at 10 a.m., reach Orange by 10:20 a.m. and should clear Caesar Chavez by 10:35 a.m.

10:35 a.m.: Chinatown streets will begin closing as the race heads down Caesar Chavez to Alpine, down Grand and then over to Spring St. Roads should open shortly after the race has passed sometime shortly after 10:40 a.m.

10:40 to 11:50 a.m.: Downtown streets will begin closing, starting with Spring and 1st Streets. From there sections of Olive, Hill, Olympic and Hope streets are also expected to close down, along with cross streets between 1st and Pico Boulevard.

Emergency vehicles will not be impacted
