Anaheim officials say the city unemployment rate in April was 9.5 percent – much larger than the 7.4 percent seen in Orange County.

The 200 employers at the Anaheim/Orange County Job Fair and Expo say they have 2,600 positions to fill.

While many people hope to connect with jobs on the spot, employers figure they’ll invite quite a few for interviews at a later date.

The event also offers career-building workshops, resume reviews, computer stations and free WiFi.

The job fair continues until 3 p.m. Admission, parking and other services are free.
