Several events in Anaheim this weekend have officials advising people to plan ahead or use public transportation. Most say it's not quite Orange County’s version of Carmageddon, but the going could be slow.

Laura Scheper of the Orange County Transportation Agency said that the Angels' baseball games are just one part of the weekend mix.

“[There's] the opening of Cars Land at Disneyland Resort, there’s a concert at the Honda Center on Sunday," she began listing, "and there’s also concerts planned at the City National Grove in Anaheim for Friday and Sunday.”

She said there are special trains to get to Angels games, and that between buses and Metrolink people can get where they need to go without getting stuck in traffic.

There’s another upside to leaving the car at home: no parking hassles or fees.
