San Bernardino is hosting what’s being billed as the largest free weekend health clinic ever held in the Inland Empire.
The free medical services are being provided by Molina Healthcare. The Long Beach-based care provider serves more than 4 million people on Medicaid and other government programs nationwide.
Low-income people of all ages who qualify for the weekend clinic have access to a range of care including dental, vision, vaccines and even acupuncture. Patients can also have prescriptions filled on site.
Organizers expect several thousand individuals and families to visit the clinic. Doctors and other health care staff will be available from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday at the National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino.
