San Bernardino County authorities say 14 people were injured after a school bus toppled over in Victorville this afternoon.
A California Highway Patrol officer tells the Victorville Daily Press that the bus driver apparently swerved to avoid striking a U-Haul truck pulling out of a driveway.
In a statement, the San Bernardino County Fire Department says two of children of the bus suffered serious but not life threatening injuries. All of the other injured, including the bus driver, were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the U-Haul truck and a passenger were unhurt. The school bus carrying about three-dozen children was on its way from Galileo Academy in Victorville.
