A hiker died after falling from the cliffs of the popular Eaton Canyon park area of Altadena Friday, according to our media partners NBC LA.
LA County Sheriff helicopter unit rescued the other hikers in the party, but one victim died of head injuries after a fall. The Altadena Sheriff's Station posted photos of the rescue on Twitter:
The circumstances of the fall are still under investigation and the name of the victim has not yet been released.
