Gasoline prices are continuing their decrease in Southern California.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gas Friday is $3.89 in Los Angeles County. The price has dropped for 30 consecutive days, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California and the Oil Price Information Service.

The price in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties is $3.86 for a gallon of self-serve regular.

"Day-to-day wholesale gas prices are still at a point that should create continued prices decreases at the pump," said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California. "For the first time since at least the year 2000, Southern California gas prices dropped more often in March and April than they rose, but the price for that was the big spike in February."
