The body of Darlene Flynn — a Guinness World Record-holding shoe collector — was found dead in her backyard pool on Monday.

The Press-Enterprise reports that deputies found the Menifee woman with injuries appearing to be the result of "blunt force trauma," according to sheriff’s officials.

NBCLA.com reports that Flynn — featured on the TLC show "My Collection Obsession" for her 15,000 shoe-related items — was involved in what police are calling "a domestic dispute turned deadly."

The 58-year-old victim shared a home with her 29-year-old boyfriend, Justin Smith, who was arrested on suspicion of murder after authorities saw him running from the home.

Smith, who appeared on the TLC program with Flynn, is expected in court for an arraignment Thursday and is being held without bail.

NBCLA.com reports that Flynn and her boyfriend were "always arguing. I mean, loud, constantly fighting," according to neighbor Carina Cazarez.
