Forget the menacing heat wave. We've got a great list of fun and inexpensive events that combine just the right mix of body and booze. Drink beer while doing yoga, karaoke at a dive bar, de-stress with free meditation, eat like a Greek, or challenge yourself to an 8-mile bike ride. It's all happening in 'hoods around Southern California from downtown L.A. to Santa Monica.

Here's everything you need to know:

1. This is not a bounce house

Grand Parks’ latest attraction — a 175-foot-long, 95-foot wide, maze-like complex — will combine soaring domes and multi-cultural performances to create an interactive world of light, color and sound. Dubbed Exxopolis, the mega exhibit is a part of The Music Center’s World City season. (Note: While it may look like a humungous bounce house from the exterior, that's not at all the case, the exhibition's manager told Downtown News.)

Pro tip: Don’t come with stank feet because you'll be asked to remove your shoes before entering.

When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Where: Grand Park | MAP

Price: Free. Pre-sale tickets are sold out, but tickets will be available at the door | Info here.

2. Jog. Yoga. Beer. And Breakfast. Yes.

It's Golden Road's Detox/Retox, and really, what more can you ask for? The event begins with a 2-mile jog followed by a 90-minute, music-based Vinyasa Flow class. Once you get past the exhausting temps and rigorous workout, relax with vegan-friendly fare and local craft beer.

Pro tip: Bring a mat, towel, water and koozie.

When: 9 a.m. Saturday

Where: Golden Road Brewing | MAP

Price: $10

3. Oppa! Enter a food coma at the L.A. Greek Fest

Get your sweet tooth ready for the ultimate foodie experience at the 15th annual L.A. Greek Fest hosted by celebrities Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks. Tour Saint Sophia Cathedral's beautiful architecture and enjoy live music while eating your favorites from this extensive menu. To top the night, cool off with a tasty blend of Greek yogurt drizzled with crunchy bits of Baklava.

Protip: There's plenty of free parking nearby. Shuttle services will be offered as well. Here's a map.

4. Ommmm. Refuel the mind with meditation

Pro tip: Safety first! Helmets are required for all riders.

When: Saturday; check-in at 9:30 a.m; bike ride starts at 10 a.m.
