More than 500 original costumes and props from classic horror films and television shows as "Halloween," "Predator" and "The X-Files" will go on sale at Premiere Props' annual live auction Saturday.

Prepare to be greeted by zombies, alien heads, slimy sawed-off feet and even a pair of Michael Myers' bloody coveralls from the 1978 horror film "Halloween" at the event sponsored by Fangoria magazine.

Attendees can enjoy drinks and  hors d'oeuvres, followed by a live auction 11 a.m. at Premiere Props' headquarters and a quick history lesson on the items for sale. The event is expected to attract nearly 1,000 people both online and in-person.

Dan Levin, EVP of Premiere Props, told KPCC that the memorabilia store collaborates with studios, movie production companies and collectors to provide the latest collectibles, props and costumes popularly featured in classic television and movie sets.

"We're going to have over 500 movie props and costumes. Everything from the classic movie 'Halloween.' We also have a alien head prop from  'Predator,' which is a highly collectible film," said Levin.

One of the most expensive items sold during a past auction included a full monster mask from the classic 1954 film "The Creature From the Black Lagoon." The prop sold for $85,000, according to Levin.

Levin says Premiere Props plans to go all out with Halloween decorations this year. The walls of the building will be covered in cobwebs, witches on brooms, crossbones and spooky skulls. Fangoria's auction is one of the biggest events attracting sci-fan and horror fans in SoCal, according to Levin.

"Fangoria is one of the favorites. This is when we bring out the only props and costumes for the horror fans and the sci-fi fans so we tend to get a great crowd. The whole place gets decked out for Halloween," said Levin.

Along with props from "The Exorcist," the auction will also feature collectibles from "Friday the 13th." This includes Jason's prized body parts: torso, leg, heart, guts — the whole mix.

If you can't afford betting on some of Hollywood's hottest props and costumes, don't fret. You'll be able to view the collection at 9 a.m. before the auction begins. Fangoria is free and open to anyone who can handle the gory side of Halloween. Bidders can place their bets online and view the extensive online collection here. The event will also be live streamed on the website.

Premiere Props' is located at 128 Sierra Street, El Segundo, CA, 90245.
