Forest roads to close early Saturday due to snow forecast

The Los Angeles County Public Works Department announced it will close public access to parts of the Angeles National Forest Saturday due to forecasted snow and icy road conditions.

Closures go into effect at 1 a.m. Saturday for the following areas and will be lifted after the storm passes and roads are inspected:

Local access will not be allowed until road closures are lifted.

The National Weather Service forecasts a 90 percent chance of snow Saturday morning and 30 percent chance of snow Saturday night for the closed Angeles Forest Highway segment.

Sunny, clear weather is forecast for the area Sunday.
