A bear has been spotted in Pasadena, wandering around yards in a residential neighborhood.

Warden Jason Healy told NBC-LA the search would be called off because the incident has not reached a point where it is a public safety issue.

"These bears are pretty savvy," Healy told NBC-LA. "They know which direction they need to head so he was headed in the right direction. He'll probably either hunker down for the night or make his way back into the forest."
