Authorities say a tour bus caught fire after a driver pulled off a Southern California freeway to evacuate 40 passengers. No injuries are reported.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Eric Smitson said Sunday that passengers smelled a suspicious odor or saw smoke, prompting the driver to exit Interstate 605 in Norwalk and pull into a doughnut shop parking lot. The engine caught fire as the passengers left the bus.
