After being shut down for more than four days, Covered California's enrollment portal on its website is functioning again.
A spokeswoman said the portal returned to operation at around 4 a.m. Monday. The agency took it down last Wednesday afternoon after intermittent errors cropped up on the enrollment pages, ending user sessions during the application process.
Technicians first discovered the problem during system maintenance on Feb. 16th. Covered California said its engineers worked around the clock to fix the problem.
The agency said that no consumer data were compromised as a result of the technical problems.
