Jockey Rafael Bejarano injured at Santa Anita, horse Gameboy Luke euthanized

Jockey Rafael Bejarano was hospitalized Saturday after his horse, Gameboy Luke, fell during the fourth race at Santa Anita on Saturday.

Bejarano was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, according to the Paulick Report.

Horse Gameboy Luke was euthanized due to his injuries, according to the Paulick Report. He was three years old making his fifth career start.

Bejarano placed second in the Belmont Stakes in 2005 and third in 2006, according to Equibase.
