The Los Angeles city attorney is heading to court to attempt to oust the Five Deuce Broadway Ganster Crips gang from three South Los Angeles homes.

City Attorney Mike Feuer filed lawsuits Wednesday against the owners of three homes where he says narcotic sales and gang activity took place.

Feuer wants the courts to require security measures at the properties like hiring guards and banning gang members from living there.

The lawsuits come one day after FBI agents and police arrested 50 people with alleged ties to the Broadway Crips gang. Almost all of those arrested were among the 72 listed in a racketeering indictment targeting the gang.

Prosecutors say the gang carried out murders, robbed bank customers and peddled drugs near Skid Row over the last two decades.
