The City of Glendale issued the following Brand Fire update on its website Tuesday:

The approximately 150-acre Brand Park burn area is 90% contained.

All access to the Brand Motorway (hiking trail) is closed until Friday, June 27. The following trails are accessible from points outside of Brand Park and will therefore remain open: Beaudry North & South, Las Flores, Verdugo Trail, and Whiting Woods.

Southern California fire officials say a fire that has burned 150 acres of dry brush in the hills above Glendale is 60 percent contained.

Glendale spokesman Dan Bell says no homes or structures are in danger Tuesday, and no evacuations have been ordered.

Firefighters from several agencies are on the scene in canyons above the city.

The blaze started shortly after noon Sunday near Glendale's Brand Park.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
