One person was shot and killed outside a hotel near Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday, and the suspect is still at large, according to police.
The shooting took place just after noon outside the Westin Hotel on Century Boulevard, though it wasn't clear where the incident started, Los Angeles police Officer Liliana Preciado told KPCC.
Police are searching for a suspect, who left the scene in a black BMW.
Police have established a perimeter and shut down Century Boulevard between La Cienega Boulevard and Concourse Street, according to a statement from LAX.
Traffic is being diverted around the area, and LAX officials suggested commuters take Aviation Boulevard and the Sepulveda exit from the 105 Freeway instead.
