All lanes of California's Highway 39 have been shut down after a small wildfire broke out in the area.

L.A. sheriff's deputies say they're evacuating the North Fork, OHV, Crystal Lake, Coldbrook Canyon, and West Fork areas. Campers and others in the area are being evacuated north via Highway 2, a spokesperson for the sheriff's station in San Dimas said.

The fire has spread rapidly, officials at Angeles National Forest said, It has currently burned about 350 acres in the area.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Angeles National Forest spokesperson Andrew Mitchell told KPCC.
