Authorities say a man was shot by a federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent during a raid in San Bernardino County.
The Victorville Daily Press reports the operation was one of at least three joint federal and state search warrant investigations in the High Desert on Tuesday.
Sheriff's officials say 34-year-old Arnulfo Hernandez of Victorville was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot. He's expected to survive.
Details surrounding the shooting and the investigations were not released.
ATF spokeswoman Meredith Davis says all three operations involved sealed search warrants.
The newspaper reports Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were also at the scene of the Victorville shooting.
