Southern California may experience some wet weather after midnight Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
There'll be a 40 percent chance of rain and a slight chance of thunderstorms until Friday afternoon.
"It's pretty much gone by Friday evening," said Stuart Seto, a NWS weather specialist.
The agency is expecting a tenth of an inch of precipitation. Daytime temperature highs will be in the upper 60s.
The weather should slightly warm up after Friday, with no chance of rain over the holiday weekend.
“The weekend looks nice," said Seto. "Temperatures will go up a few degrees but the cloudy skies will probably still hang around into early Memorial Day."
