One lane is still closed on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu after several large rocks and dirt fell onto the roadway.
The initial rockslide occurred Monday night after a weekend of heavy rains.
Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. John Lecrivain said firefighters arrived and pulled the rocks off the road, but then more debris started coming down. Lecrivain said one lane of the highway remains closed early Tuesday while state transportation workers assess the situation.
The partial closure is between Big Rock Canyon and Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
