The L.A. Rams beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-24 at Saturday's preseason game — but the real winners may have been parking lot operators.

Sure, when major concerts and sporting events occur, parking lot operators raise their rates. But even with the rampant profiteering surrounding most professional sports, these prices seemed to cause sticker shock. 

At spots around the L.A. Coliseum, Rams fans on social media documented lots with signs charging $50, $80 and even $100 to park, as USA Today noted.
