LAPD officers shot and killed a man overnight in the Pacoima area after he led officers on a car chase.

Officers responded to a call about a domestic dispute around 2 a.m. from Omelveny Avenue just south of Van Nuys Boulevard.

Following a car chase, the suspect got out of the car and fled on foot, LAPD Officer Mike Lopez said.

“Officers chased the suspect — and there was an officer involved shooting on Haddon street north of Carl Street in the area of Pacoima. The suspect was struck and died at the scene.”

Police said they did recover a gun. But police have yet to release details about the man. No one else was injured.
