You’ve no doubt heard the news. The sale of recreational marijuana will become legal in California as of Jan. 1, 2018. But what does this mean for you? There is a lot of confusion among consumers and businesses, and that bewilderment is only expected to grow in the coming months.

Which Southern California cities are issuing licenses and which are aiming to ban sales altogether? Where will you be able to buy cannabis (if so inclined)? And what kinds of conversations could or should you be having with your kids about legal pot?

As KPCC prepares for a multiplatform series looking at the future of legal recreational marijuana in California, we want to know your questions. They’ll inform our reporting and an upcoming KPCC In Person event. No question is too big or small, too obscure or too in the weeds.
