Authorities are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman along a freeway while posing as a CHP officer.

The suspect allegedly groped the victim after pulling her over. The incident happened along the 105 freeway in Downey on November 7th at around 2:30 P.M.

The suspect was dressed in a uniform-style shirt and pants and was even equipped with a utility belt that included a pistol.

The vehicle was described as a black 4-door sedan, possibly a Ford Crown Victoria. The vehicle was affixed with a red/blue emergency light mounted inside the windshield at the rearview mirror, a spotlight mounted at the left A-pillar, and the front and rear side windows were tinted.

Investigators say the suspect never identified himself as an officer, but presented himself as such.

They are asking anyone with information to call CHP.
