The U.S. Army set up camp on the UCLA campus today. Actually, it was just a brief stop by soldiers in a Humvee to pick up medical textbooks donated by university doctors. Last spring, UCLA's Medical Alumni Association collected 2,000 books for "Books Without Borders." KPCC's Doualy Xaykaothao reports the books will go to doctors in Northern Iraq who are in need of current medical information.
Doualy Xaykaothao/KPCCCaptain George Zuniga of UCLA's ROTC program helps to put boxes of medical textbooks, donated by medical alumni, into an Army Humvee.
