Entries for the above sweepstakes can be made by making a membership
pledge to KPCC between 6:00 a.m. PST November 12, 2003 and 11:59
p.m. PST December 31, 2003. To make an entry without pledging, you
may enter
online or e-mail mail@kpcc.org
with your name, address and telephone number, or send a postcard
handwritten, with the message "KPCC Honda Sweepstakes, KPCC
89.3 FM, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91106 postmarked by
December 31, 2003. Include your name, street address, city/state/zip
code. Entries with incomplete information will be disqualified.
Limit one entry per household. Multiple entries, if discovered,
will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late,
mutilated, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or postage due mail
or entries. No mechanical reproductions of entries allowed.
ELIGIBILITY: Any legal resident of the United States (excluding
New York) who is 18 years of age or older and a licensed driver
can enter the sweepstakes, except persons who on or after April
30, 2003 were or are employees of American Honda Motor Co. Inc.,
Rubin Postaer and Associates, American Public Media Group and its
related organizations (including KPCC), their immediate family or
persons living in the same household. Void in New York where prohibited
by law.
PRIZE: 2004 Honda Insight, donated by American Honda Motor Co.
Inc. Color of vehicle is based upon availability. Winner is responsible
for all taxes and other expenses, including but not limited to:
sales tax, luxury tax, registration, title and license fees, insurance,
extended warranties and all other costs incurred in claiming, registering
or using the vehicle. Winner is responsible for all costs associated
with any optional accessories ordered by Winner.

option selected.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: A winner and nine back up names for the
prize will be selected by random drawing. Winner will be drawn by
January 31, 2004. Winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail or
certified mail. If KPCC is unable to reach the winner, prize notification
is returned as undeliverable, or the winner is unable to accept
the prize within 30 days of notification, the un-awarded prize will
go to the first back up and subsequent back ups thereof until the
prize is awarded. Winner must provide their social security number
and sign a release form prior to awarding of prize. The odds of
winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.
CLAIMING PRIZE: Winner must take delivery of the car at the most
conveniently located participating Honda dealership in the continental
United States. Winner must be in possession of a valid driver's
license and vehicle liability insurance. All vehicle taxes and license
fees are due and payable by winner at time of delivery. Title will
be transferred to the winner at this time.
GENERAL: By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree
that KPCC, American Public Media Group, American Honda Motor Co.
Inc., Rubin Postaer and Associates and related organizations, their
agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries,
losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize,
or by participation in the sweepstakes. The Prize is non-transferable,
and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions,
except that Sponsor may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater
value if due to prize unavailability. KPCC may use winners' names
and likenesses for publicity purposes without further compensation,
except where prohibited. All taxes on prize and expenses as a result
of winning this prize are the winner's responsibility; all vehicle
taxes and license fees are due and payable by winner at time of
delivery. We recommend consulting your tax advisor before accepting
the prize. Winner will receive an IRS form 1099 with the exact value
of the prize at year-end.
RESTRICTIONS: By participating in the Sweepstakes, a participant
agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions
of the contest judges.
