Plenty of books are written about the birth, teachings and divine sacrifice of Christ, but few have tackled the perhaps thorny subject of what Jesus was doing between the manger and the Mount. In his new novel Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal (William Morrow), author Christopher Moore gives a fictional account of what might have happened to Jesus in the missing 30 years between his birth and the final three years of his life, as told by his best friend Biff. Moore joins guest host Patt Morrison to discuss his innovative tale. Christopher Moore is also the author of Practical Demonkeeping, Coyote Blue, Bloodsucking Fiends, Island of the Sequined Love Nun, and The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove.
On Monday September 2nd Bravo premieres the first in a four-part miniseries entitled œGay Weddings.” It explores the trials and tribulations of four gay couples as they plan and put together their dream weddings. Patt Morrison talks with the creators of the series, Doug Ross and Kirk Marcolina, as well as Lupe, a member of one of the featured couples, about the ups and downs of wedding planning from a decidedly non-traditional point of view.
