How the earth became a corporation and how to take it back
In his new book "Life Inc", author Douglas Rushoff traces the way we have incorporated the corporation in our every day lives. Ruskoff, a social theorist and filmmaker argues that we have completely adopted the values of corporations giving up on our own personal values in favor of market-tested solutions for everything from finding a date to losing weight. According to the author, the only way out of this predicament is to revamp our entire economic system and return to strictly local economies that shun corporate models of commerce and interaction.
