Robert McNamara dies
Former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara has died at age 93. During his tenure under Presidents John. F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, he was notable for his role in the escalation of the Vietnam War. McNamara later admitted that mistakes were made in how the war was handled, and was the subject of the 2004 Academy Award winning documentary "The Fog of War".
