Home tax credit boosts sales ... and fraud
Home sales were up 9.5% in September, thanks in large part to an $8,000 tax credit for first time homebuyers. Many members of Congress are pushing to extend the credit beyond its December 1 expiration, but the White House harbors its doubts. An IRS watchdog group told Congress that hundreds of millions of dollars have already been fraudulently claimed. Is the bump to home sales worth the cost? Larry Mantle learns more.

He's a treasure of comedy and this Monday, an all-star lineup of performers and fellow comedians will be on hand to salute Bill Cosby, when The Kennedy Center awards him the twelfth annual Mark Twain Prize for American humor. Larry talks with Cosby, A.K.A. “America’s Dad,” about his incredible career as a comedian, actor, producer, composer and activist.

Mitch Albom is here. The author of Tuesdays with Morrie has written a new book that profiles a Jewish rabbi preparing for his own death and a Christian pastor who works with Detroit's homeless. Rabbi Lewis asks Albom to deliver the eulogy at his funeral, a request that develops into an eight year relationship. And, Albom steps into a different neighborhood and faith with the reformed addict Pastor Covington. He talks with Larry Mantle about doubt, death, and his book, "Have a Little Faith."
