Give me clean energy or give me death
NRDC President Frances Beinecke
Frances Beinecke recently handed Ban Ki-Moon a slim volume with an urgent message: we must act aggressively to halt climate change and we must act now. Her book, Clean Energy Common Sense, takes on the tone and title of Thomas Paine's famous pamphlets. The National Resources Defense Council's Director tells us why this text should spark a revolution of its own.
Guest:
Frances Beinecke, author of Clean Energy Common Sense (loosely modeled on Thomas Paine’s Common Sense), a call to action on global warming. Beinecke is the president of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), one of the nation’s largest environmental action organizations.
