Lead loosely by former House Majority leader Dick Armey, the group’s protests have garnered no shortage of attention—and many Republican candidates re-jiggered their campaigns to appeal to the movement’s small federal government and limited spending message. But a new Washington Post/ABC News poll shows that the Tea Party’s popularity is waning.
