University of Colorado allows students to carry concealed weapons

University of Colorado at Boulder is allowing students to bring concealed weapons to campus if they have a permit. But if they want to live on campus, they must be stay in designated housing.

Starting this fall, the University of Colorado system will allow students to carry concealed weapons onto campus.

But if they want to live on campus, they will have to stay at housing designated for concealed carry permit-holders.

Past policy required permit holders to check in their guns at the police station on campus.

Guns will be still be banned from areas of mass gatherings such as auditoriums.
