US swimmer Diana Nyad is seen in the water during her departure from the Ernest Hemingway Nautical Club in Havana on August 18, 2012.
Endurance swimmer Diana Nyad is back in southern California. She's recovering from her fourth attempt to swim from Cuba to Key West, Florida without a shark cage.
It's a 103 mile journey and she made it about 70 miles before being pulled out of the water. She endured dehydration, sunburn and multiple jellyfish stings. It was the build up of toxins from those jellyfish that ended her attempt.
Diana Nyad joined the show to talk about her experience.
