Miguel

This Los Angeles native is back with his second album, "Kaleidoscope Dream," which will be released in full by October 2. He sings about love and lust... but mostly love on the new album. The ethereal, spacey sound that accompanies this R&B is reminiscent of Prince, and his singing about love is subversive, unlike Trey Songz. The song that you hear in the piece is called "Adorn."

This is his fifth album, aptly named "Chapter V." He sings about love too, but his lyrics are more upfront... and graphic to say the least.

2 Chainz

As for 2 Chainz, 2012 has been his year. He's collaborated with artists like Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Drake. On his most recent album, "Based On A T.R.U. Story," Chainz lets loose and comes into his own. The songs in the piece include "Birthday Song feat. Kanye West" and "No Lie feat. Drake."
